Hello, I'm Abby.
I'm an artist located in Madison, WI. I have a background in graphic design and am passionate about depicting the world around me. I love to draw and paint what I see. I bring my sketchbook with me to anywhere from a coffee shop to the lake and everywhere in between.
I have been drawing and painting my whole life and my love for it has only grown as I have. When I started with oil paint I fell in love with painting landscape and from there my skills transformed as I explored other styles.
Every piece I make starts with something that caught my eye and wouldn't let go. I hope my work carries that quiet attention with it.

Intentional
I take on a limited number of commissions and prints each season to ensure every piece gets the time and attention it deserves.
Tactile
Even prints are chosen for their physicality — heavyweight cotton paper, pigment inks that feel like they belong on the page.

Commissions are a dialogue. I want to understand what draws you to a subject so I can paint it the way you feel it, not just see it.
